I am using this page to report and update information relating to the construction of our neihborhood network.  Anyone that can offer any advice feel free.

Our Internet access through Verizon has become absolutely unusable broken connections and slow service has encouraged me to install a Wild Blue satellite system. I have installed a WRT54G Linksys WIFI router to give me access through out my house but now we want to extend the network to several neighbors. Presently we want to add two locations both have line of site to my house one being 300' away and the other being 540' away. Both locations are in the same general direction.  Unfortunately my office is located on the far back side of my building and the best antenna location is on the front of the building a distance requiring 50' of cable.  I have been consulting with various people and have decided on the following hardware for the transmit end.

This is a picture of the transmit end showing the location of the office and the proposed location for the antenna install.  Cable length necessary 50'.

I figure I will install the transmit end first and then figure out what is needed on the receiving end.  This hardware has been suggested for the receiving end.
