The spring season is now upon us and I am getting ready for numerous stone jobs. I took some picture during a recent trip to the quarry and thought you might be interested in seeing stone harvested. Our southern NY bluestone industry produces stone of light blue color which does not have the "reeds" of PA stone. I have a preference for this stone as the cost and quality make it desirable.
